Management

Responses were weighted according to assets under management.  At the same time, to strengthen its management structure, UBS announces the following appointments to the Group Executive Board (GEB):.  Commenting on these appointments, Marcel Rohner, Group Chief Executive Officer, UBS, commented: “These appointments significantly strengthen the management structure of the firm.  Previously he was Vice Chairman of Morgan Stanley Europe, and a member of the firm’s Management Committee.  As the largest wealth and asset manager in the world, UBS offers wealthy individuals investment management and financial planning services.  Overall, UBS enjoys the top position in the wealth management market, with $2.  UBS also announced that it made a small net profit of 296m Swiss francs in third quarter, mainly due to its wealth management business.

Panama

If the UBS account was a corporation or foundation the account owner could wire it to say an anonymous Panama corporation or foundation and thus their identities would be concealed and they could safely recover their funds.

Money

UBS wins Asiamoney award four years running.  UBS has been voted by clients in the Asia-Pacific as the Best Equity-linked Derivatives House in Asiamoney’s Structured Products Poll for the fourth consecutive year.  Asiamoney’s fourth annual Structured Products Poll collated the thoughts of senior finance and treasury executives involved in Asia-Pacific structured product transactions.  UBS was voted Japan’s best real estate investment bank in Euromoney’s Awards for Excellence in Real Estate 2007 (Japan).  The award winners, featured in the latest edition of Euromoney Japan, were selected by institutional investors, investment banks, developers, advisors and real estate asset managers.  The poll was compiled from last year’s Euromoney surveys covering fixed income research, primary debt, structured credit and debt trading.  The results reflect the opinions of more than 1,600 money managers at around 550 institutions managing an estimated US$5.
